How does the CSP work?
A CSP congregation makes the following commitments to the Diocese:
- Use its best efforts to become a more vital part of its community and the diocese
- Participate in education and leadership training programs
- Make a financial contribution of 50% of its total normal operating income
- Transition from the CSP as soon as possibl.
The Diocese agrees to:
- Pay the compensation and benefits of the Vicar based on the compensation guidelines of the Diocese
- Help the congregation work with the all diocesan resources to enhance its in-reach, outreach, and stewardship programs, and maintain its property
- Maintain confidentiality.
