Find a Church

Searching by County:
To see a list of all of the churches in a particular county, click on the box marked “County” and choose from the drop down box. Then click the “Search” button.

Searching by Town:
To search by town, you do not need to know the county in which the town is located (although if you do, it may narrow your results). For best results, in the left hand box enter the shortest version of the town name that will differentiate it from other towns, and then click the “Search” button.

For example, to search for churches in White Plains, entering “white” or even “whi” would be adequate, while entering “plain” alone would result in listings for Pine Plains and Dover Plains as well.

Note: If you enter the name of a town in which there is no Episcopal Church you will get no result. In this case, you will need to search by county to find the nearest church to the town.

For best results, please use the shortest search term possible.  For example, if searching for St. Margaret’s church, enter “Margaret” only. If searching for All Angels’ Church, enter “Angels” only. If you do include “St.” in your search term, be sure to include the period.
